To make more people donate blood and keep track of their blood values, we built a service where you can track all you need.

GeBlod is where you donate blood to the healthcare. The demand for blood in healthcare is constantly high, and different kind of blood types. We wanted to make it easier to donate and to find locations where you can donate so it would be an accessible task in your daily life. To gain more donators we talked to nurses who works at facilities and donators, to know what they were missing in the process. And after the research some insights were:

Your own dashboard about your donations

With our new dashboard the donator was able to follow the full history from every occasion and see the blood values over time. The donator was also able to see all locations on a map, where you could see both standard facilities and also the "blood bus" and when it was open. So now our donator was more likely to donate on the go, or between other errands. It was also easier to see when you last visited and when you were able to revisit.
